Tapp Beauty gives back to LGBTQ Youth with Campus Pride

Tapp Beauty celebrates and supports all the colors of the rainbow.  As we move into Pride Month this June, we have chosen to give back to LGBTQ youth with Campus Pride, a national LGBTQ youth organization, locally based in Charlotte, North Carolina.  Customers will be able to make donations online or when receiving service/products in the store.

"Campus Pride is deeply appreciative to Tapp Beauty for thinking of our work and supporting what we do locally. We believe all young people deserve the dignity, love and respect to be all of who they are," said Shane Windmeyer, Executive Director of Campus Pride.  "Charlotte is our home. Thank you to all those who give $5,$10, or more during this campaign."

Campus Pride is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and proceeds will help fulfill its mission to build future leaders and creating safer, more inclusive communities at colleges and universities. The organization is the preeminent resource for LGBTQ leadership development, diversity inclusion and advocacy within higher education.

Annually Campus Pride works with more than 1,400 colleges and universities, including two-year and four-year, and both public and private institutions, with 60% of those campuses located in the South and/or in rural areas. The organization’s work directly serves more than 126,000 young adults (ages 18 – 26), and supports 3,600+ staff, faculty, and administrators each year to improve quality of life and the campus climate for LGBTQ youth at campuses across the country.
